  • Before commencing a class with Ribble Valley Children's Physiotherapy, check with your doctor if you have any concerns about you or your baby's health.

  • When practicing certain positions or helping your baby/child achieve certain skills, ensure you listen to your bodies' feedback regarding your limitations - do not continue anything that causes you or your baby pain or harm.

  • Try not to compare you baby/child with others - Physiotherapy is about working with their strengths and weaknesses and helping them be the best they can be. We celebrate individuality!

  • If you or your baby are unwell, please do not attend the class to protect your classmates.

  • When practicing with your baby/child you must never force anything or try to rush - if it feels stressful for you or your baby is not enjoying it, take a break and come back to it later.

  • Do not practice on your baby/child if they are ill - this includes if they are limp, pale, have a high temperature or are having breathing difficulties. Always seek appropriate medical attention if they present with any of the above.

  • Where possible try to feed your baby/child at least 30 minutes before their class as to avoid any reflux or discomfort.

  • You are fully responsible for both yours and your baby/child's health and actions during and after any physiotherapy led classes.

  • Whilst COVID-19 control practices and procedures are in place, you may still be at risk of contracting COVID-19 during face to face classes.

  • Safety is paramount in our classes, and we reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises should we feel the safety of the class or its participants are compromised.

  • Our developmental classes are offered as drop-in sessions, therefore are booked on a first come-first served basis and need to be secured early to avoid disappointment.

  • Payments for block class bookings (baby massage / baby yoga) are taken upfront online in order to secure your child's place on the available dates.

  • We are unable to offer refunds for missed sessions, however where possible, we will seek to accommodate you in a suitable alternative session, subject to availability.

  • Babies/children already attending classes as part of our programme receive priority booking when future classes become available.

  • If a class needs to be cancelled on behalf of the instructor due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, the class will be refunded accordingly.
